Even though autumn may have just arrived, the fashion and beauty industries are already a few seasons ahead. After this past fashion week, their sights are focused on the spring/summer 2018 season- and boy is there a lot to be excited for, especially when it comes to beauty. It looks like barely-there makeup is here to stay for another season, but there are a few exciting changes to expect next season from shifting brow shapes to stand out lips colors. But why wait until 2018 to give these beauty trends a try? Below, our favorites from fashion week that you should be trying out NOW. Because as the saying goes, practice makes perfect, so by the time 2018 rolls around you’ll be a pro. You can thank us later.

Straight and Natural Brows

Thick brows have been a huge trend for the past few years, but it appears that for this upcoming season, we're moving towards natural/straight brows. To get this look, simply run a gel through your brows, we reccomend the Glossier Boy Brow, $16.

Dewy Complexion

This isn't exactly a new trend, but during the spring and summer months it’s common to see a more dewy complexion come into play because, who doesn't want a natural glow? To get this look, check out Becca Cosmetics Backlight Priming Filter, $38.

Perfectly Imperfect Hair

If there is one thing that anyone can learn from Le Parisienne, it is to always leave something undone. The easiest thing to leave undone is hair. To achieve the ultimate Parisian chic look, try using a texture spray such as Bumble and Bumble Cityswept Finish$31.

Warm-Toned Shadows

This season, we've been seeing a lot of neutrals and golden shades, think sunset/campfire-like hues. Regularly, these colors are more popular during the fall seasons, so it's so exciting to see them transition into warmers months. To get this look, check out Urban Decay’s Naked Heat palette, $54.

Glitters and Metallics

Instead of just seeing glitter eyes, next season you can expect to see glittery lips as well. Some just line their lips in glitter and others a full-glitter lip. For that magical effect, check out the viral Ciate Glitter Flip, $19.

Nude Lips

Nude lips are here to say for another season. Finding a perfect nude shade might seem like a challenge but there are plenty of options. This season, there is a lot of pink-based nudes, think mauvey shade. Matte lipstick as well as glossy lips but only time will tell which finish will take over. To get the look, check out  Tarte Quick Dry Matte Lip Paint in Salty($20).

Pops of Colors

The pop of color is perfect for a night out or to shake up your everyday beauty routine. The pop of color seen this season is in the waterline or on the lower lash lines, or take a note from Valentino (see below) and apply the color all around the corner area of your eye and up into your brow. To get this look, check out the NYX Slim Eye Pencils$5.

Crazy Winged Liner

Winged liner is always a big trend, but this year instead of seeing a classic cat eye, we are seeing a bold play on traditional winged liner. Runways are showing everything from thick lines to uniquely-shaped liner. To get this look, check out, VOLUMINOUS® Liner Noir, $10.

Red Lipstick

Red lipstick never goes out of style, and this season is no exception. We are seeing a lot of bright red lips, but with rich orange undertones to them. To get this look check out Mac Cosmetics Retro Matte Lipstick in Ruby Woo, $18.
