The perfect way we thought we could kick off celebrating Paris Fashion Week was to recount some of the most memorable looks from our favorite quirky, Paris-dwelling maximalist, Emily Cooper from the Netflix series Emily In Paris. Emily’s bold sense of style is right in our wheelhouse; we never shy away from color, patterns and statement accessories! Truth be told, each of her epic outfits deserves a place on this list—but, in the interest of saving you some time, we’ve rounded up five of our favorite fashion statements—outfits and accessories alike.
“Mod” about emily

We are obsessed with Emily’s mod-inspired minidress from season 3! Not only do we love this bright orange hue, but pairing it with shiny teal knee-high boots gives it the perfect finishing touch. She’s going mod, but still keeping the look current, and we’re living for it.
berets, bucket hats & beanies (oh my!)

Our girl Emily never shies away from some funky headwear! It would be impossible to pick just one hat moment—so we decided to include the entire category! It seems she has a hat for any occasion, and Emily completes many of her memorable looks with the perfect beret or bucket hat. It’s safe to say she has them in most colors (if not all) of the rainbow.

Fashion rules be darned—some patterns were just meant to be worn together. (Even if they don’t technically match). One of the things we love most about Ms. Cooper is her character’s fearlessness when it comes to putting pieces together. Maybe the reason we adore Emily and her fashion choices as much as we do has to do with the genius behind the outfits: Patricia Field. The woman who dressed our beloved Carrie Bradshaw is at it again and has Emily thriving in a sea of colors and patterns—and we can’t get enough of it!

One of Emily’s most memorable outfits had green weaving all the pieces together. This gorgeous ensemble left us drooling for more—and let’s not forget the chic Kelly green jacket she wore over this incredible color combo. If you ask us, it’s the perfect inspiration to make a statement for this upcoming St. Patrick’s Day!

We had to mention the hats, so it would be a disservice if we didn’t lump all of Emily’s standout bags in here as well! There isn’t a girl around who wouldn’t love to go sifting through Ms. Cooper’s selection of handbags. (Off the top of our heads, we can think of a few Chanels we wouldn’t mind getting our hands on!) While she lets her outfits do the talking, her handbags are the perfect metaphorical icing on the cake!
