Maybe you finally talked yourself into making that career pivot (and now you never want to hear the word pivot again), or you're graduating into an, uh, less-than-ideal job market, or maybe you're just trying to make it through another day of virtual work.

It’s no surprise that the majority of us feel like we’re in a serious career-rut á la 2020. I could go on telling you all about how “this won’t last forever” but take it from the experts yourself, cause these pods will kick your inner dreamer into high-gear whether you like it or not. Before you give into the career doom-and-gloom that 2020 has so generously given us, give these podcasts a listen. You’ve got this.

Second Life with Hillary Kerr

For all of my dreamers looking to make that leap into a new phase of their career, this one's for you. You’ll get the ins and outs from powerful women who began in careers miles from what they do today, and how they’ve kicked butt along the way (despite the mistakes we all end up making). Not to mention, this pod is totally star-studded with guests from Eva Chen to Jessica Alba who talk candidly about their success and their, sometimes huge, failures.

Hello Monday with Jessi Hempel

If you’re someone who likes to be ahead of the game, Hello Monday is a go-to. Jessi Hempel of LinkedIn explores the ever-changing workspace and how we can best navigate it. No topic is off-limits, from the gender wage gap to persistence in the pursuit of a new career. Hempel is inspirational and realistic – which like it or not, we could all use sometimes.

Secrets of Wealthy Women

The name of this podcast pretty much says it all. These are the type of secrets that should be shared with the world, and host Veronica Dagher is doing exactly that. Another star-studded podcast discusses all the nitty-gritty of money mistakes, investing, and indisputably successful women across different industries. Dagher covers everything from side hustles to non-profits, so no matter what you do from 9-5, she’s got some unparalleled insight.

The Rachel Hollis Podcast

As much as we love career podcasts, they can be a little intense at times (in the best way). Author Rachel Hollis has created the most perfect in-between when it comes to balancing your career goals and your personal well-being. This podcast is truly a *chef's kiss* when it comes to practicing intentional self-care. Let Hollis walk you through everything from knowing when to start over again to make the most of every second we have.

Limitless Life

We’ve all struggled –and likely still do– with truly embracing who we are and what we want to do. Whether it’s working up the courage to tell your traditional family your dreams are creative or embracing your inherent draw towards entrepreneurship, Melyssa Griffin covers it all. As a formerly running a multimillion-dollar business, Griffin has taken a serious introspective look and has made it her goal to help us do just the same.

Switch, Pivot, or Quit

Okay, okay – we know you never want to hear the word pivot again, but host Ahyiana Angel kind of has a point. Angel is a real-life example of making a conscious career pivot into something entirely new, and crushing it along the way (seriously, she used to work in sports!). She leads the conversation on navigating a corporate career to venturing out on your own, with others who have done exactly that.

The Goal Standard

Probably one of the most relevant podcasts in 2020, Lene Green talks about “the grind before the shine” on her podcast. This year has been a year of trials, triumphs, and try-agains for so many of us just trying to get our dreams off of the ground. Green will talk you through the basics (like finding a virtual assistant) and what comes after that, with seriously unbelievable guests Chelsea Guarriello – uh, we’re listening!
