Here's What Happened at Copenhagen Fashion Week SS21

It’s no secret that Fashion Week will inevitably look a bit different this season, no matter where you are on the globe. With that being said, Copenhagen may have just found the optimal balance of innovation and tried-and-true traditions. Denmark’s COVID stats are, well, significantly lower than the United States, so Copenhagen Fashion Week was able to safely opt for in-person events (precautions taken, of course) in addition to digital showings that have been gaining popularity over the past few months. Not only were the usual shows and presentations on the agenda, but organizations came together to spark conversation over the future of fashion. Between the outdated retail calendar and sustainability issues on top of COVID impacts, there’s been plenty to discuss in the fashion community as of late.
