5 Iconic Summer Looks from Gossip Girl

With the ‘Gossip Girl’ reboot returning to HBO Max, it feels just right to reflect back at some of our favorite outfits worn by Manhattan’s elite. Head stylist and costume designer, Eric Daman, is returning for the reboot and has given us more than enough looks to swoon over. The OG stars were dressed head-to-toe in designer pieces, and we’ll be expecting the same for our new leading class at Constance Billard. Here are a few of S and B’s lux summer looks, enjoy!

Throwback to Moschino Spring 2010 Ready-to-Wear giving us a mixed print of cherries, watermelon and pears. Blair wore this dress in Paris, France on a girl trip with none other than Serena van der Woodsen. This bubble-hemmed frock dress is paired with a fabulous Chanel patchwork shoulder bag, from their Cruise 2011 collection.

The star of the show here is the 3.1 Phillip Lim Small Lark Duffel in bright yellow. Though this bag is from their Spring 2012 collection, Serena’s arm candy was worn in early fall of the show. Serena’s style is fun and flirty and she makes us want to bring back large duffles.

Cynthia Rowley meets biker chic, and only Blair Waldorf could look this good on a designer bike. She is sporting an Alice + Olivia floral dress that’s accented with the Rhode Island prep wicker bag. Fun fact! This original bicycle was featured on the runway; all the models rode them down the catwalk.

Serena is strictly business when it comes to finding herself after graduating high school. Her time in the PR industry was hot and short lived, but she looked amazing day to day. She paired this Yigal Azrouel frock with a Mulberry tote; Miss Serena is shown with a heavenly collection of their bags throughout the entire show.

Blair’s dress-for-success mentality always matches up perfectly with her wardrobe. In this case, she is wearing a Marc Jacobs blouse, paired with a Kelly green DVF jacket. The bright yellow Gucci Hysteria bag is the cherry on top of this outfit. Lastly, let’s not forget the iconic line said in this outfit, “Haven’t you heard? I’m the crazy b*tch around here.”
